Job title: Leak Test Supervisor
Location: Anbar / Akkaz Oilfield
Reports To: Commissioning Manager / Construction Manager
Job Objective:
Supervise and manage all leak testing activities to ensure piping systems and equipment meet project specifications and safety standards. Oversee the preparation, execution, and documentation of leak tests in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
·Plan and supervise leak test activities for piping systems, vessels, and other equipment.
·Ensure all testing procedures comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
·Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and QA/QC teams to schedule and execute leak tests.
·Review and approve leak test packages and related documentation.
·Oversee preparation of systems for leak testing, including flushing, cleaning, and isolation.
·Verify the readiness of systems and ensure proper equipment and materials are used for testing.
·Monitor test execution, evaluate results, and ensure any leaks are identified and rectified promptly.
·Maintain accurate records of test results and issue detailed reports.
·Ensure all personnel involved in testing are trained and follow proper safety procedures.
·Participate in daily progress meetings and provide updates on leak testing status and issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
·Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
·Minimum of 8 years of experience in leak testing within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
·Strong knowledge of piping systems, leak testing methods (e.g., hydrostatic, pneumatic), and applicable codes/standards.
·Proven experience supervising teams and managing field testing activities.
·Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
·Familiarity with project safety requirements and risk assessments.
·Ability to interpret engineering drawings and test procedures.

·Completion of leak tests as per project schedule and specifications.
·Accuracy and completeness of test documentation and reports.
·Zero safety incidents during testing activities.
·Prompt identification and resolution of leaks or non-conformities.
