Interface Engineer

Ensure effective coordination and integration of all engineering and technical interfaces between different project stakeholders, including engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, and client representatives, to achieve seamless project execution and delivery.

Job Description:

Job title: Interface Engineer

Location: Anbar / Akkaz Oilfield

Reports To: Project Manager / Engineering Manager

Job Objective:

Ensure effective coordination and integration of all engineering and technical interfaces between different project stakeholders, including engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, and client representatives, to achieve seamless project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage and control all interfaces between different project packages and stakeholders.

·Facilitate regular interface meetings and coordinate resolution of technical issues.

·Develop and maintain interface management plans and interface registers.

·Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure alignment and compatibility of systems and deliverables.

·Review and verify technical documentation related to interface points.

·Ensure all interface agreements are documented, communicated, and implemented.

·Identify and mitigate potential interface-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.

·Liaise with client representatives, contractors, and vendors to resolve interface issues.

·Support project scheduling and planning teams with interface-related inputs.

·Prepare regular progress reports on interface activities for senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).

·Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, preferably in oil & gas or large industrial projects.

·Strong understanding of interface management principles and project execution practices.

·Excellent coordination and communication skills.

·Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex technical interfaces.

·Proficiency in using project management and engineering software tools.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·Timely resolution of interface issues without impacting project schedule.

·Compliance with interface management plans and procedures.

·Quality and accuracy of interface documentation and records.
