Objectives
Electrical Supervisors require skills typical of both an electrician and a manager/supervisor. A keen orientation toward detail is important for both positions. The Electrical Supervisor must have a strong eye for technical specifics and potential trouble spots, along with strong leadership skills.

Activities
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the construction process, including coordinating and directing workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Enforce safety regulations and building codes and conduct regular inspections to identify hazards or violations.
- Manage and resolve conflicts between parties involved in their discipline.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, costs, and quality control measures.
- Identify and address issues arising during the construction process.
- Manage allocation of resources including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and permits.
- Write Permit to Work (PTW), ensuring hazards and controls are explained and understood by operators.
- Issue Electrical Safety documents.
- Approve Isolation Requests & Validation and LOTO procedures.
- Ensure safe working practices and Electrical Safety Rules are followed on site.
Administration Tasks
- Interface with Client Electrical counterpart and Site Manager, identifying concerns affecting progress, quality, or cost and recommending corrective actions.
- Participate in daily meetings to report and forecast activities.
- Liaise with other Construction Lead Supervisors.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to discipline-related technical problems.
- Interface with Engineering to ensure latest documentation revisions are used on site.
- Monitor electrical erection activity schedules.
- Manage as-built drawings from subcontractors.
- Verify material availability on site and identify potential future issues.
- Coordinate a team of Authorized Electrical Persons for electrical works execution.
- Coordinate with site Electrical QA/QC (OPF and Supplier).

Prior Experience / Expertise Required
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
- Familiarity with electrical and safety codes.
- Minimum 5+ years industry experience.
- At least 3 years construction experience, preferably in EPCC projects involving Engineering and Vendor management.
- Strong attention to detail.
