Position title : Application Support Engineer

Duties and responsibilities ::
-Fully test the application system in the development stage, from unit test, integration test, system test, to performance test, user ability test and regression test etc. with test plans and test cases
-Proactively help improve quality methodologies /processes within the organization to increase efficiency and redundancy
-Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
-Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
-Assisting with systems integrations
-Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queriesand resolutionsis kept up to date
-Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures-Identifying and resolving technical issues
-Managing coordination at a local and international level where required
-Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
-Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
-Developing reports for teams across the business
-Main business contact for day-to-day technology issues / requirements for the listed derivatives business
-Examine application functionality and performance and provide information about how it can be improved
-Proactively manage data quality in company systems
-Maintain interfaces, exports and imports, and ensure their smooth running whererequired
-Manage interfaces, defined operational system processes and data extracts
-Write, run reports, interfaces and routines to support day-to-day business operations
-Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time
-Working in accordance with Company policies, procedures and computing standards and giving the suggestion
Qualification & Training requirements ::
•BSc. Degree in Engineering,computer Science,Information Management, or Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT
Experience ::
•Four years’ experience within a professional ICT environment planning, installing, maintaining, and supporting business applications.
•Experience in some aspects of providing ICT applications support to users in a customer focused environment.
•Experience of implementing and upgrading business applications.
•Experience of analyzing user needs and requirements, mapping process and documenting the results.
•Experience of supporting business application systems.
•Should have Network and telecom experience.
Language proficiency, computer and software skills ::
•Fluent in English , Arabic is a big plus.
•MS Office Advanced Experience in : Word , Excel and Power Point

-Intimate knowledge of an organization’s computing systems
-Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
