Position Responsibilities:

•    Execute day to day gas turbines generators operation jobs.

•    Follow gas turbines& generators OEM operation procedures in a safe manner.

•    Ensure all auxiliaries of gas turbine package in operation.

•    Effectively utilize the CMMS for notification and workorder completion along with feedback & failure reporting in CMMS.

•    Keeps record of all gas turbine & auxiliaries’ operation.

•    Work closely with CPF team to meet power demand. 

•    Do risk assessment & JSA of routine and nonroutine operations.

•    Initiate PTW and get approved from approving authority before job start and close PTW as per procedure after job completion

•    Workorder completion history logging in CMMS system.

•    Record keeping of all operational parameters.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Diploma in Electrical/Chemical discipline / Associate Engineering 

Minimum Experience:

•    10 years of experience as gas turbine generator operator. 

Job-Specific Skills: 

•    Must have hands on experience of operating gas turbine generators and auxiliary systems. Must have knowledge of starting and shutdown sequence, iso and droop modes of gas turbine generator, water wash sequence, gas turbine generator common alarms, different securities functions, synchronization, high voltage breakers, HV transformers, current transformers, potential transformers etc.

•    Ability to effectively use PID, PFD, electrical drawings, and job specific procedures. 

•    Have knowledge parallel operation of gas turbine generators.

•    Ability to analyse gas turbine generator package faults. 

•    Ability to create notification in CMMS.

•    Ability to handle emergency like ESD and restoring the power supply in case of breakdown, performing root cause analysis of breakdown and suggesting control measures to avoid breakdown and ensure maximum power availability. 

•    Conversant with power plant Start-up & Shutdown Sequence and Interlocks. 

•    Ability to communicate in English.
