Position Title: HRIT Specialist
Purpose –Position Description
The primary role of HR IT Specialist is to ensure the smooth functioning of company HR Database (SuccessFactors). Performs a variety of day-to-day administrative Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions ensuring data integrity and the processing and reporting of HR data.
Accountabilities and Requirements -Position Description
-Support to maintain accurate and high qualitative HR data in SuccessFactors
-Provide advisory services and guidance to management regarding system requirements based on company resources and needs
-Provide technical guidance and direction on the operation and maintenance of the human resources data system
Provide on-the-job and formal training to human resource data system users -
-Develop and implement system strategies
-Responds verbally or in writing to inquiries, complaints or problems providing information requiring comprehensive knowledge of university policies and procedures.
. Confirms accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintains data in HRIS system -
Performs mass data updates -
-Support Team Lead to export, import, clean-up, and research/report on any data discrepancies.
-Delivers routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.
-Prepares reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations
-Provides assistance and supports others on difficult assignments and/or problems as directed
-Coordinates, schedules and tracks progress of specialized work projects or departmental functions
Responds to technical administrative questions and ensures necessary follow up -
Participates in special projects with staff as directed -
Key Challenges
-Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting and design of HRIS
-Handles problems and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interprets guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices
Work well in a team setting to reach all company objectives in a timely manner -
perform effectively with minimal supervision -
Qualifications
University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field -
-Highly proficient in English Language (written and oral)
-Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration in assigned area.
Minimum of 3 years with HR System support experience -
Professional Skills
-Well adept in systems
-Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of human resource information systems (HRIS) -
Knowledge of database maintenance basic concepts -
Good command of verbal and written English -
Skill in problem solving and decision making -
Ability to demonstrate close attention to detail -
