Sales Engineer - Basra Operations Department Operations Director
The Sales Engineer maintains the sales process and client database; identifies new opportunities with the Ministry of Oil and its related companies in Basra, creates initial contacts and analyses the customer trends and needs as well as competitor information.
The Sales Engineer conducts business presentations and tries to achieve the company sales target.
Have a friendly personality and excellent communication skills to comfortably communicate with all levels of the business and fit into a remote team environment.
Wide exposure on the Oil & Gas sector
Available to travel.
More than 2 years of Experience in similar business with the Ministry of Oil and its companies.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
Responsibilities and Obligations:
Handles the sales process;
Updates the Business Development and Sales Director with the sales activities through daily
Develops and grow the business for the entire company through tapping potential and grasping
Entering new markets;
Creating initial contacts;
Maintaining the client database;
Identifying opportunities to grow;
Maintaining excellent public relations.
Anticipates and analyses customer trends, needs and competitor information seeking opportunities in
order to have an edge over competition;
Attends meetings/workshops with principals and conducts requested business presentations.
Education & Experience:
- University degree
- Communication skills
- Computer skills
- Minimum experience of two years
Relations with all departments and employees.
Official working hours with occasional over time.
