- Sort and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients or departments.
- Prepare outgoing mail, including labeling, stamping, and packaging.
- Process bulk and certified mail, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Operate mailroom equipment, such as postage meters and sorting machines.
- Track and record incoming and outgoing packages and deliveries.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of mailroom supplies.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding mail and package deliveries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient mail flow and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a mailroom or similar role is preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and processing mail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry mail and packages of various sizes.
- Knowledge of mailroom equipment and procedures is a plus.
