The Business After delivery engineer is responsible for the scope of projectsafter being delivered to operationsas warranty focal pointand has direct responsibility for warranty support,reporting, and product quality improvement activities related to product warranty obligations and requirements.This position will givethe opportunity to grow to become an active partner and solution visionary who shapes the technology demand and direction in the business community. Job Description:

Position title : IT Business After Delivery Engineer

Position status  : Local 

Position reports to : IT Business Manager 

Department : IMIT

Rotation pattern : 14/14

Duties and responsibilities :

  • Provide warranty technical support and expertise to the specific individual warranty for various IT projects in Majnoon.
  • Support IT Business Manager to build the team to maintain delivered projects. The after-delivery engineer needs to understand SLA and the parameters of the system. 
  • Fix issues and failures with manufacturers when the system is broken. 
  • Preparation of training material from the delivery of the project 
  • Maintain strong external and internal interface with vendors Product Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Program Management to create cross-functional teams to communicate warranty information and provide failed parts/data for analysis to provide effective improvement and reporting of organizational and customer warranty issues.
  • Review warranty processes and applicable data processing/storage systems to provide updates necessary to meet company requirements and to sustain effective and efficient data/part processing response time to internal and external customers.  
  • Work with IT team members to maintain delivered projects.
  • Provide and manage a framework for the warranty returns, customer concerns and the company problem solving/root cause analysis system 
  • Flexible to accept any other tasks assigned by Business Manager and related to and required by the Business section, and implement them in a professional manner

Qualification & Training requirements : 

  • BSc. Degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Management or Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT

Experience :

  • 4 years of relevant job experience within the Oil & Gas industry or IT/Telecom domain
  • Having good expertise with Oil and Gas Telecom equipment installation and maintenance
  • Have network/telecom concepts
  • Have various system troubleshooting expertise

Language proficiency, computer and software skills : 

  • Fluent English language
