HSSE Coordinator

HSSE Coordinator (HSSE Liaison Role)isto provide direct liaison support between theHSE and Security and the respective counterparts in .
The function is to ensure that communication and workflows are maintained including matters such as meeting support, processing routine paperwork, process support for commercial paperwork, diary management, and, over time, developing technical understanding of the outputs of HSSE Department

Working area overview:

•The oil fieldconcession covers an area over 1,000km².

•The oil fieldsits within a complex array of Tribal communities.

•The oil fieldisa VUCA environment (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity).

•The oil fieldruns a sophisticated HSSE Management system which is evolving towards to support field development and the SMART OILFIELD concept.

•HSE and Security have a high tempo of general business with BOC.

•HSE and Security are on call 24/7 for incident or emergency response.

•Clear communication with BOC is essential in thisVUCA environment.

Organisation:

HSSEHSSE Coordinator (HSSE Liaison Role) will be:

•Administrated by HSE Department.

•Operationally controlled (day to day) by Security Department.

•He will report to FOC Security Lead.

•He will provide duties to HSSE Manager, HSE Manager and Security Manager.

•Capabilities & Responsibilities:

•In order to succeed in this role, the person will need the following capabilities:

oExcellent English language skills verbal and written.

oProficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly:  Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

oBe able to work unsupervised and manage their workload independently.

oBe able to develop an outline technical understanding of HSSE issues.

oBe able to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.

•In order to succeed in this role, the person will need to fulfil the following responsibilities:

oDay to Day liaison with BOC stakeholders in the HSSE domain.

oEnsure that workflows and paperwork are processed within the established timelines.

oIdentify, report and mitigate any problems or concerns that may arise within the work flows.

oEstablish and maintain a seamless communication channel between BOC and IFMS HSSE stakeholders.

oProvide weekly reports on activities performed.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Education:

•Graduate at Bachelor Level in BusinessStudiesor a related field.May accept Vocational qualification / certificate.

Experience:

•3 -5 years

Skills: 

•Excellent English language skills both verbal and written.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly:  Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

•Experience of working in a commercial or technical office in a VUCA environment.
