Position title: Fuel Supervisor

Position reports to : Head of Lifting and Material Transport

Department : CPL – Contracts Procurement and Logistics

Rotation pattern : 7/7

Duties and responsibilities

• Oversee all Fuel Deliveries from the refinery to DS1, DS2/CPF /all the oil field locations 
• On site contract representative for fuel logistics and infrastructure 
• Conduct audits on contractor Fuel Management and own executed logistics operations, follow up and close out findings. 
• Provide fuel transportation support to subcontractor.
• In liaison with Journey management team ensure safe road transport operations.
• Oversee the utilization of company managed fuel station
• Oversee and approve time sheets for rented vehicles, trucks.
• Maintain a detailed fuel delivery / distribution report
• Plan the Fuel Forecast and agree with BOC Fuel team for the monthly forecast
• Conduct regular site visit to all fuel location to ensure all safety standards are followed
• Prepare a clean audit report of Fuel received and distributed to all locations
• Coordinate with the Contractor on the fuel supply and ensure all storage tanks are maintained as per the standards
• Report to the client BOC as and when requested
• Ensure all Fuel vouchers are signed for the quantities and issued to BOC
• Ensure all correspondence sent to BOC is archived and produced when necessary
• Provide necessary coaching to New contractors for fuel requirements

Qualification & Training requirements

• Degree in any discipline.

Experience 

• Minimum 05 – 10 years’ experience in oil field in supply of Fuel
• Minimum of 2-5 years in logistics operations
• Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all functional aspects of Contracts, VOWD, Monthly fuel distribution.

Language proficiency, computer and software skills

• Well versed in MS office 
• Knowledge in preparing monthly reporting and KPI
• Communication skills 
• Male candidates preferred
• English is must and Arabic knowledge is preferred

Skills

• Excellent standard of spoken and written English
• Staff supervision and management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same field
• Sound understanding of Logistics Principals
• Sound understanding of the relevant Company HSSE standards and procedures
• Analyze work instruction and SOP for each function
• Connect different functions under compliance group
