Cost & Planning Engineer

To provide a Cost & Planning Engineering Service to AOS-IFMS project in accordance with the standing procedures .

Job Description:

Position title : Cost & Planning Engineer

Position status : Local 

Position reports to : O&M Support Superintendent

Department : O&M Support

Rotation pattern : 14/14 days

Duties and responsibilities 

* Implements administer and maintain procedures to track project budgets, VOWD, contract expenditure. 

* Commitments, forecasts (LE) and invoices by close coordination with Finance and contract disciplines lead 

* Follow up with a contractor for completion certificates and ensure provided documents are compliance with AOS finance requirement 

* Coordinate with BOC & discipline leads to get signatures of approval and submit documents to finance 

* Submit monthly VOWD to finance and handle queries if any relevant 

* Responsible to issue SO requested by the department and coordinate with the contractor 

* Lead the ambiguity in any SO and solve it with the assistance of contractor, Contracts and finance department 

* Prepare payment Request and get approval signatures from relevant person to be submitted to the finance team for each invoice 

* Report the status of the submitted invoices, pending invoices and supporting documents to line managers. 

* Establish and maintaining all cost recording documentation (invoices, service orders and supporting documents) 

* Planning and forecast for the expenditure of contracts and budget. 

* Preparation of work plan and budget (WPS) and coordinate with all concern Deps.

 * Participate in preparation of tender documents and clarification contract drafting, contract administration. 

* To track the purchasing activities, inventory status, and analysis. 

* Prepare various reports for consumption like chemicals and lab consumables

Qualification & Training requirements

•BSc. Degree in Engineering

Experience 

– Minimum 5yearsof relevant job experience preferably in oil & gas industry

– Hands on experience in cost, planning, finance management,and vendor coordination.

Language proficiency, computer and software skills

•MS Office:•Excel –advanced

•Word –Intermediate

•PowerPoint–Intermediate

•English –upper intermediate (verbal & written)
